About the role
The Enterprise Application Support Specialist III role is an IT technical analyst role with the Deluxe ITMS support Team accountable to ensure the proper functioning of live, operational, customer-facing environments that are cloud-based, SaaS architectures. The team maintains availability and monitors performance as well as diagnosing problems, anticipating trends and the development of new tools to support the platform.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other teams on preparation and installation of new software and making upgrades to ITMS system.
- EAS Specialist III is responsible for mentoring and coaching to improve team members skills set.
- Active monitoring and review of Production Applications for Performance and Accuracy.
- Cooperative troubleshooting and analytic work with other technical members and members of Development, QA and Support teams.
- Be able to manage on-call supports a 24/7 production environment.
- Independent work analyzing trends in data and reporting on anomalies.
- Prepare ITMS environment
- Plan for releases and coordinate and collaborative implementation for updates of the ITMS software.
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities and coordinate them with rest of team when is required.
- Advance knowledge on managing day-to-day operational activities of the ITMS Prod environment.
Requirements
- Must have solid knowledge of leadership, couching and mentoring your coworker or/and peers
- 3+ years previous experience in Enterprise application support or technical operations with experience in managing the resolution of business critical and time sensitive issues
- 3+ years of knowledge of current Microsoft Server platforms
- In depth advance knowledge of the administration and programming of MS SQL server 2008+
- 3+ years of experience in XML/Https/MS .Net/Client-Server architecture
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose software and network issues
- Experience with Linux CLI
- 3+ years of knowledge of Network and systems administration
- 3+ years of experience in installation software and upgrade enterprise application
Qualifications
- Document and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
- Programming experience is a definite asset
