EHS Senior Specialist

As an EHS Senior Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
- Leading select site EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while promoting a strong culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
- Leading the site's Industrial Hygiene program, including exposure assessments, air monitoring, and implementation of effective engineering and administrative controls.
- Leading the site's Air Quality Management program, including emissions inventory management, monthly and annual emissions tracking and reporting, and permit development and review.
- Serving as a technical EHS lead for new and modified equipment, new product introductions, incoming material approvals, capital projects, and management of change processes, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early in project development.
- Partnering with leadership on incident investigations, utilizing root cause analysis methodologies and corrective/preventative action development.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (6) six years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND (10) ten years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with Plant Management and production employees
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
- Experience in SAP or similar enterprise management system
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001
- Experience with EHS inspections and audits
- Certifications such as: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH); Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other related credentials
Work Location & Travel
- Onsite Irvine, CA
- Travel: May include up to 5% [domestic/international]

Pay & Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
