About the role
As an EHS Senior Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Responsibilities
- Developing and deploying the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) program across multiple repair and sites to ensure compliance with regulations, while promoting a strong culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement; including development of technical procedures and training.
- Leading and advising on EHS audits and assessments, management review, incident investigations, EHS systems, ergonomics, and technical standards.
- Communicating program status and results to management, monitoring metrics, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Serving as a technical EHS leader for new and modified equipment/processes, new product introductions, capital projects, and management of change processes, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early in project development.
- Establishing extensive corporate interactions and develops a network of support (repair service, EHS, technical, manufacturing, and engineering) to facilitate completion of programs.
- Ensuring that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (3) three years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from AND (10) ten years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Work location: Onsite‑Oakdale, MN
- Travel: May include up to 15% [domestic/international]
- Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with management and employees
- First aide / CPR / AED experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication toward diverse teams with varying levels of proficiency in the EHS space
- Microsoft Office experience
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 -
