About the role
The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving environmental, health, transportation, and safety programs within the organization. They ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, conduct safety inspections, and provide training to employees.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, and Area Managers to ensure adherence to Rain For Rent's expectations.
- Inspect work areas and equipment for compliance with safety and health policies and regulations, document inspections, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and present plans for continuous improvement at the department, regional, and branch levels.
- Assist branches with incident reviews and make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Identify safety training needs, develop, and coordinate training programs.
- Investigate incidents involving company vehicles, interview witnesses and drivers, and make recommendations for compliance improvements.
- Analyze reports from regulatory agencies and recommend measures to improve safety records.
- Manage departmental policies, including facility design and work area/work procedure development.
- Mentor, coach, and encourage employees on safety culture and performance improvements.
- Manage and coordinate projects, providing oversight and ensuring timelines are met.
- Other duties as assigned to support operations.
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with at least five years of related experience or training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills to manage relationships with colleagues and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to deal with regulatory agencies and contractors.

Pay
$101,000 - $126,000 annually, DOE
Schedule
Regular onsite presence at RfR offices and branch locations is required.
