EHS Engineer

About the role

The EHS Engineer will serve as the site EHS resource, partnering with leadership and operations teams to drive a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to reduce risk and improve EHS performance.

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and EHS programs.

Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities to proactively prevent incidents.

Deliver employee safety training and support ongoing safety awareness initiatives across the facility.

Coordinate industrial hygiene activities and support employee health and safety programs.

Maintain environmental records and support regulatory reporting related to air emissions, hazardous waste, wastewater, and sustainability initiatives.

Assist with environmental permitting, sampling activities, KPI tracking, and ESG/sustainability reporting.
