EHS Coordinator - Kenn
Scope Of Responsibility
- Coordinate and implement standard Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
- Hazard recognition and safety inspections to minimize risks and ensure compliance
Essential Duties
- Manage key safety programs (PPE, Respiratory Protection, Hazard Communication, JSA, etc.) with training provided
- Review incidents and support corrective action plans
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and training sessions
- Develop JSAs and promote safety awareness
- Participate in safety meetings and emergency response
- Conduct risk assessments and support EHS program development
Education
- Relevant coursework or EHS-related certifications welcome
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Entry-level candidates with strong willingness to learn encouraged
- Training and mentorship provided
- 1–3 years preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy
- Willingness to learn EHS regulations and principles
- Strong communication, detail-orientation, and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform inspections throughout the facility
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to identify hazards and maintain a strong safety mindset
