EHS Coordinator - Kenn

Scope Of Responsibility

  • Coordinate and implement standard Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
  • Hazard recognition and safety inspections to minimize risks and ensure compliance

Essential Duties

  • Manage key safety programs (PPE, Respiratory Protection, Hazard Communication, JSA, etc.) with training provided
  • Review incidents and support corrective action plans
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and training sessions
  • Develop JSAs and promote safety awareness
  • Participate in safety meetings and emergency response
  • Conduct risk assessments and support EHS program development

Education

  • Relevant coursework or EHS-related certifications welcome
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Entry-level candidates with strong willingness to learn encouraged
  • Training and mentorship provided
  • 1–3 years preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy
  • Willingness to learn EHS regulations and principles
  • Strong communication, detail-orientation, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform inspections throughout the facility
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to identify hazards and maintain a strong safety mindset
