EHS Coordinator

The EHS Coordinator supports all aspects of the EHS regulatory compliance function for both IFMG plants.

• Design/implement/administer a wide range of EHS compliance and training programs.
• Conduct accident investigations and assist supervisors with injuries.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and accidents.
• Cook up testing of workplace air quality, noise, temperature, or radiation to verify compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Cook up/participate on all federal OSHA compliance inspections.
• Cook up/participate on environmental agency compliance inspections.
• Actively participate in IFMG Safety Committee.
• Manage environmental monitoring – groundwater use, daily surrogate visible air emissions monitoring, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Minimum Education – 2 year college degree in EHS or related field OR alternatively a High School diploma with at least 4 years of on-the-job EHS compliance and regulatory interpretation experience coupled with relevant professional continuing educational training in the EHS field.
• EHS certifications are beneficial but not required.
