About the role
The EHS Coordinator will lead the safety program at the plant, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Follow and support all Company Safety, GMP and HACCP policies
- Conduct safety training for new employees
- Organize annual safety training for all employees, including HazCom, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Emergency Evacuation, Ergonomics, Blood borne Pathogens, LOTO, and facility inspections
- Develop and conduct new training programs as needed
- Complete OSHA forms and reports
- Conduct incident investigations & complete Risk Assessments
- Lead and implement Safety projects
Qualifications
- A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience
- Ability to work any shift as needed
