About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a EHS Analyst. This position is based in our Waukesha, WI Facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Supports site in achieving EHS targets & objectives.
- Supports development, maintenance and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
- Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
- Supports site leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
- Engages all shifts and communicates updates on a daily basis.
- Facilitate engagement of site MESH Team in ownership of the MESH elements.
- Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
- Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
- Works with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
- Cookes IH assessments (noise, hex chrome, & welding..) and employee medical evaluations (example respirators use).
- Attends incident investigations (injuries, incidents, spills, property damage & near misses), manages MESH Prism and on time closure and escalation of all corrective actions in MESH Prism.
- Coordinates Layer process audits for EHS processes and ensures follow through and closure of findings (SWPP, SPCC, Air permit checks, daily safety walks,...).
- Manages ISO 14001 actions using a project plan approach and provides weekly status updates.
- Supports A3 team with problem solving and supports tier meetings for various value streams.
- Participates and leads Emergency Response Team.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum one (1) year of experience in environmental, health and safety program management and/or employee EHS training.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental discipline. OSHA compliance management experience. Active involvement with Emergency Response Teams (ERT). Strong EHS background with emphasis on safety programs. Skilled in industrial hygiene oversight and implementation. Experience in heavy industrial environments including fabrication and welding operations.
