EHR Application Analyst

Overview

Department: Data Processing
Schedule: Full Time Days, 40 hours weekly, 8-hour shifts
Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center
Location: Olympia Fields, IL 60461

Responsibilities

• Implementation, optimization, and support of Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, ensuring seamless clinical and administrative operations.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to assess needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient workflows.
• Independent responsibility, discretion, and decision-making on critical tasks, with minimal oversight.
• Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
• 3+ years of experience working with Epic and/or Meditech EHR systems.
• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing EHR systems.
• Experience in healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and administrative processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff and IT teams.
• Experience in system configuration, data integration, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
• Open to travel when required.

Preferred

• Epic proficiency in at least one module (e.g., ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Orders).
• Meditech proficiency.

Pay

$58,240 to $87,360 on an annualized basis. Exact starting compensation determined at time of hire based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
