Responsibilities
- Implement, optimize, and support Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms to ensure seamless clinical and administrative operations.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to assess needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient workflows.
- Operate with minimal direction, exercising independent responsibility, discretion, and decision-making on critical tasks.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand hospital business operations, integrated delivery system requirements, and IT applications in healthcare.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- 3+ years of experience working with Epic and/or Meditech EHR systems.
- Proven track record of implementing and optimizing EHR systems.
- Experience in healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and administrative processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff and IT teams.
- Experience in system configuration, data integration, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic proficiency in at least one module (e.g., ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Orders).
- Meditech proficiency.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $44,928 to $65,062 annually. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
