Egg Packer/Stacker - 1st shift

About the role

Cooper Farms is a family‑owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. The Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer and Darke counties provides quality table and liquid eggs. The company is seeking a 1st shift Egg Packer/Stacker to join the Central Egg Processing team in Coldwater, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Packing cartons and flats of eggs in proper packaging material.
• Ensuring that case labels match the carton/sleeve type and code date and placing case labels on the proper packed cases when applicable.
• Communicating any variance of carton dates or case labels to the Packer Operator or Processing Floor Lead.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift between 25–50 pounds repetitively.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate: $17.50, with potential increase to $17.70 after 90 days.
• Monthly and year‑end profit‑sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance).

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm.
• Occasional Saturdays.
