Packer/Stacker - 1st Shift

About the role

The Packer/Stacker position at Trinidad Benham Corp is a full-time opportunity located at International Blvd in La Vergne, TN. This role assists in the setup and maintenance of machine operation, ensuring high-quality packaging for retail products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe start-ups at the beginning of each shift.
• Think safety and conduct prompt start-ups, timely shutdowns, and precise changeovers from one product to another.
• Stack or pack product off the line into cartons or onto pallets in a neat and uniform manner.
• Record accurate production output and downtime as advised.
• Maintain proper sanitation around machines according to plant GMP’s.
• Follow all SQF and Food Safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel, such as breakout, stacking, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Strong attendance and good safety/sanitation history.
• Self-motivated and responsible.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Willing to work any shift if required.
• Bend to lift cases to be loaded and stacked on pallets.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds of finished product.
• Possess some mechanical ability; previous machine operator experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
