EG Fright Fest Haunt Technician

About the role

Fright Fest Haunt Technician at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a seasonal position requiring an organized and dedicated individual to join the Entertainment Technical Services Team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a given Haunted House
• Aid with the load in and set up of Fright Fest 2026
• Perform daily operational checks/repairs
• Assist with other department-related tasks
• Work closely with the technical services team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the assigned haunt and park zones
• Work all Fright Fest operating days (Fridays-Sundays) with additional operational days
• Occasionally available for special event days and overnight shifts as assigned
• Work varying shifts with occasional overtime opportunities
• Monitor guest activities in haunts on CCTV systems
• Inspect scenic elements, lighting systems, and special effects daily
• Quickly and safely repair and correct issues to ensure a safe guest experience
• Communicate with stage management and production management team on any issues or safety concerns
• Sign off daily checklists for assigned haunt
• Assist with Load in, setup, and load out of Fright Fest 2026
• Adhere to safe work practices and policies
• Attend all scheduled technical rehearsals
• Be available for all Fright Fest Operating Days

Requirements

• High school diploma, theater background preferred
• Previous experience in the Entertainment/Theme Park Industry preferred
• Strong motivation, team player, and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
• Willingness to cross-train for other operational departments
• Compliance with standard operating procedures, park policies, and regulations
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
