Haunt Show Audio Technician

Pay: $13.75 per hour plus a Haunt Bonus of $3 extra per hour on operating days (must work the last weekend of Haunt).

About the role

Use your previous audio experience and continue to build your skills as a Show Audio Technician. Operate and mix audio systems for assigned shows and events, prepare facilities, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain positive interactions with cast, crew, vendors, and audience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and mix audio systems for the duration of assigned shows and events.
• Prepare facilities for shows, special events, and daily activities to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve any issues safely and efficiently.
• Maintain interpersonal skills to interact positively with cast, crew, vendors, and audience.
• Maintain understanding of on/off stage etiquette and safety precautions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of theatrical audio.
• Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team to work towards project goals.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, lift, team lift, and carry technical equipment.
• Ability to work in high and/or low temperatures.
