About the role
The EAP Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of power systems from all round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors; Telemetry and Flight Termination products. Each of these products generally operates in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.
Responsibilities
- Perform circuit card testing and troubleshooting to the component level utilizing schematics and test equipment.
- Work with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
- Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects.
- Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
- Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
- Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level.
- Experience with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analyzers.
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test) and DMV (Design Margin Verification).
- A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills.
- Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured.
- Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGA’s.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.
Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
