Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out factory acceptance testing (FAT) on low and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies prior to shipment.
  • Create and implement test plans, procedures, and checklists based on engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct electrical and functional testing, including continuity checks and control circuit verification.
  • Identify, document, and resolve defects or non-conformances; collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Review schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and layout drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Achieve compliance with relevant standards such as UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE, and IEC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and validation of switchgear systems.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment and software tools for electrical testing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of ISO and other relevant quality management systems.
