EES Clerical Support
About the Role
Responsible for providing advanced clerical support services to the Support staff.
Responsibilities
- Performs various clerical duties such as sorting correspondence, filing, photocopying, scanning, and indexing documents.
- Distributes all incoming department mail and maintains printers.
- Handles phone calls from patients, staff, and clients.
- Orders and distributes supplies.
- Coordinates archiving of purged files.
- Prepares purchase orders.
- Reviews and verifies accounts payable invoices.
- Prints and maintains reports.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, excellent listening skills, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn within a short period of time.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology.
- Customer service skills.
- Data entry and 10-key by touch.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of business office or related experience.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
- Multiple workstations in close proximity.
