Principal Job Functions
- Performs testing procedures including EEG's, evoked potentials and CVE monitoring as assigned.
- Performs training and clinical supervision of other electroneurodiagnostic personnel; develops, updates and maintains training program for CVE monitoring.
- Prepares and adjusts daily work schedule to accommodate neurodiagnostic and CVE procedures as needed.
- Maintains and cleans equipment including electrodes, EEG and evoked potential equipment.
- Completes documentation thoroughly and accurately.
- Corrects and reports equipment malfunctions; maintains a log of actions taken including notification of vendors when needed.
- Performs mobile EEG services.
- Maintains and performs appropriate storage of neurodiagnostic medical records.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Minimum of two (2) years post-high school coursework in science or math required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Successful completion of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist OR Registered Evoked Potential Technologist OR Certificate in Neurophysiological Monitoring credentials required.
