EEG/ECG Tech (Per Diem)

Responsibilities

• Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during testing
• Oversee ECG workflow within the Intellispace computerized system
• Enter, review, and manage ECGs for timely and accurate processing
• Setup and clean equipment
• Verify orders
• Document within the electronic medical record
• Maintain organized clinical workflow
• Participate in a frequent on-call rotation, including weekends and occasional weekdays
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members
• Support departmental operations as assigned

Requirements

• Registered EEG Tech, ABRET, ECG experience, or other similar experience
• Customer service experience preferred
• Good computer skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Interpersonal and communication skills for patient care and customer relations
• Flexibility in scheduling and department assignments
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
