About the role
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Children’s of Alabama provides comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic treatment of a broad range of pediatric endocrine and diabetes disorders. This is a high volume, fast-paced clinic that features 30 clinical exam rooms, 6 triage bays, 2 stimulation testing rooms, 1 procedure room, and 3 classrooms to be able to accommodate a large volume of patients.
Responsibilities
- Assumes a leadership role and supervisory responsibilities in the development, organization, and implementation of care and services for a defined patient population.
- Integrates direct patient care, education, consultation, and research/quality improvement to support high-quality, patient- and family-centered care across Specialty Care Services.
Requirements
- Previous demonstration of expert clinical management, teaching, research and consultation skills in the subspecialty population.
- Must obtain CDCES within 3 years of assuming the role.
Qualifications
- Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Non-AL NLC Multi State Registered Dietician
- ABOED and Registered Dietician CDR
