Educational Support Professional / ESP
About the Role
Provides support services to special education students as well as other general support in the classroom and school. Various positions are available throughout the Grand Rapids Area School District for the fall of 2026, potentially including Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Bigfork, Early Childhood, and Bus Support. All positions will focus on Special Education and/or Bus Support for Special Education students, specifically Cross-Categorical/Multiple Disabilities.
Schedule
Schedule varies but will typically be around 6.25 hours per day on student days. Works 167 student days per year, plus training time, with full-time benefit eligibility for a full year of work.
Pay
Starting wage: $18.13 - $20.94 per hour based on experience.

Requirements
- Either 60 college credits OR completion of the Paraeducator exam with a passing score (basic skills exam in Reading, Writing, and Math)
This position will be filled in accordance with the Educational Support Professional contract.
