About the role
The Recruiter Trainee Program is a comprehensive training program designed to develop the fundamental skills of a recruiter, including sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing. New recruits learn from an experienced leader and existing team members to ensure they have the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse daily workload across four key areas: Recruiting, Operations, Reporting, and Meetings.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shared phone coverage and rapid response expectations.
- Prioritize premium roles and maintain strong, high-value candidate pipelines.
- Leverage multiple recruitment technologies to source, engage, and cold-call prospective candidates.
- Support incoming calls from Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), School-Based Professionals (SBPs), and clients, ensuring timely and accurate assistance.
- Review and navigate the full onboarding workflow while developing deep familiarity with Amergis requirements and processes.
Requirements
A candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in the English language, and the ability to attract top talent while using technology to build networks. Action-oriented and results-driven individuals who frequently exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are preferred.
Qualifications
Commensurate with experience, but typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant work experience in recruiting, sales, or customer service is highly desirable.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with recruitment software platforms are essential.

Pay
During the training period (typically first 13 weeks), Recruiter Trainees are compensated at an hourly rate of $24.29. After successful completion of the training program, you will be promoted into the Recruiter 1 role and will become an exempt employee compensated at a total salary of $60,000 with uncapped commission earning potential.
Schedule
Recruiter Trainees are considered non-exempt employees and are compensated at an hourly rate of $24.29 during the training period. Overtime hours may be available at leadership discretion during the training period.
