About Our Program

Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.

Pay

Salary Rate: $73,000 - $79,000

Responsibilities

  • Process and coordinate the Education & Training Services function.
  • Ensure that all OMS Standards directly under management are met and in compliance with the National Office goals of the Center.
  • Review weekly, monthly, and annual reports and verify accuracy.
  • Screen and monitor placement information.
  • Evaluate performance of staff.
  • Assist in the coordination of linkages and lead by visiting agencies, business, and other job-related resources.
  • Monitor statistical reports to evaluate and assess weaknesses, strengths, and develop comprehensive annual plans.
  • Ensure case documentation is up-to-date and available for Department of Labor and Corporate audits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Education or work-related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience, one year in a supervisory capacity preferred; Job Corps experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
