Education Director

About the role

The Education Director role at KinderCare Learning Companies is for individuals passionate about positively impacting the lives of others and making waves in the world of early childhood education. You will lead a team of educators, partner with parents, and cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train a team of educators to be passionate and committed to teaching KLC's curriculum
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Tap into your expertise in education to grow KinderCare Learning Companies' presence in the community, leading to the growth of new families and children in our centers based on the growing need for world class education

Requirements

• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand
• Apply outside knowledge and resources to provide creative solutions within the education field; partner with inclusion services where learning challenges may be present with a child
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively including monthly meetings with parents on where their child is progressing

Qualifications

• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
• Mention and train teachers and staff on how to implement educational materials effectively

Skills

• Physical ability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to connect with children and their parents

Pay

Range of pay $56,250.00 - $102,250.00. In the state of Minnesota, we currently provide an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked in addition to the range of pay listed. This premium is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.

Schedule

Our schedules vary depending on the location and position, but typically involve working weekdays and weekends.
