Education Specialist - RN or Allied Health

Responsibilities

• Providing services to all staff, volunteers, students, external customers/family members/community members, and outside agencies such as Lenoir Community College and other area colleges and universities.
• Facilitates the ongoing development of all to support UNC Health Lenoir's mission.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree preferred; BSN required if an RN.
• PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: A minimum of 2 years healthcare/health related experience is required. Teaching experience preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, and Knowledge

• RN License;
• AHA BLS (CPR) Instructor Certification.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent, prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Pushing, pulling or moving/lifting audiovisual equipment, supplies and carts.
• Requires occasional work during off-hours to reach shifts other than weekdays.
