Responsibilities

• Facilitates the ongoing development of all to support LMH’s mission.
• All LMH staff, volunteers, students, external customers/family members/community members, and outside agencies such as Lenoir Community College and other area colleges and universities;
• Facilitates learning to both clinical and non-clinical staff in the organization.
• Teaches orientation, life support, and continuing education courses.
• Provides training for clinical and technical aspects of jobs at UNC Lenoir and coordinates student learning experiences on campus.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Master’s degree preferred; BSN required.
• Professional Experience Requirement: A minimum of 2 years healthcare/health related experience is required. Teaching experience preferred.
• LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: RN License; AHA BLS (CPR) Instructor Certification.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Requirements: Verbal and written proficiency, presentation abilities and computer skills/clerical abilities, flexibility.

Work Environment

• Exposure to hazardous materials requiring the knowledge of chemical exposure procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent, prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Pushing, pulling or moving/lifting audiovisual equipment, supplies and carts.
