About the role

The incumbent applies acquired skills, process and policy knowledge to support professional health education program learners. The individual coordinates program operations, which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner and faculty compliance with education requirements and program accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates program operations, which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner and faculty compliance with education requirements and program accreditation.
  • Generates computer reports, checking for errors, correcting and submitting accurate reports.
  • Enters, maintains, extracts and analyzes data in electronic systems.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, and actively listens to others.
  • Interacts professionally, resourcefully, and courteously with colleagues and learners.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Works with extremely complex faculty calendars/schedules with extreme organization and detail orientation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, public health administration or related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Investigative, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Skills in entering, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data in electronic systems.
  • Communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
  • Service-oriented and responsive to questions and requests.
  • Ability to develop working relationships within the department and with learners.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of educational technology and systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and triage related technology issues.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of health professions education industry.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research.
  • Acquiring skills in developing and implementing processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with the administrative and operational implications in a program.
