Education Navigator (Adult Ed)

About the role

Barton Community College seeks a full-time Education Navigator. This position will provide Adult Education students (and potential students) with information, advice, and guidance suitable to the attainment of basic skills (GED), post-secondary career technical and academic education, and employment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the populations in the correctional setting primarily at Ellsworth Correctional Facility
• Provide support services for students transitioning from Adult Education to Barton Community College (BCC)

Qualifications

• Two-year degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Two to five years of similar or related experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
