About the role
The Education Dept. Coordinator supports the Education Department through the coordination of educational programs, new hire orientation, and departmental resources. This position serves as a key administrative resource, ensuring the effective organization and delivery of education-related activities across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Covering schedules
- Maintaining records and documentation
- Preparing reports
- Aiding in program implementation
- Facilitating communication among departments
- Carrying out departmental functions and projects as assigned
- Planning, coordinating, and evaluating educational initiatives
- Coordinating activities, tracking outcomes, and maintaining related documentation
- Contributing to initiatives to enhance organizational performance based on identified results and quality indicators
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of some college courses is preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum work experience: One to two years of work experience in a hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Previous hospital based work experience a plus but not required.
- Basic computer skills, basic typing skills, and good phone etiquette skills.
- Ability to multitask.
