About the role

Provides coordination for the Family and Community Medicine Research and Education programs. This position also supports the FAB Center for Complex Care team. Performs as faculty and program support in coordinating resident and medical student rotations, consult with medical education scheduling, handle all academic administration tasks related to implementing rotations and electives, and serve as the point person for educational workshops and seminar planning.

Responsibilities

  • Support project leaders in coordinating resident and medical student rotations, consult with medical education scheduling, handle all academic administration tasks related to implementing rotations and electives, and serve as the point person for educational workshops and seminar planning.
  • Coordinate the clinical, educational, and research activities and events related to the grant.
  • Maintain required source documents and data to prepare required worksheets and reports.
  • Collaborate to develop training and education materials as necessary; ability to conduct literature reviews and organization of content for materials supporting medical education/grant activities.
  • Serve as a liaison for internal and external program relations.
  • Assists in recruitment and seminar/workshop planning, event scheduling, and communications with project team members, community collaborators, and trainees.
  • Lead in planning IDD and LEP Health Disparities Seminars and Education Conferences.
  • Independently resolves issues that arise involving scheduling and programmatic plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience involving the use of both word-processing and spreadsheet development including but not limited to: Microsoft Office: Access, Excel, Word, Outlook Express, social media.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Less than 1 year previous experience in research/grant, academic setting or similar role preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use.
