Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of all aspects of the Education Department involvement in on-site and off-site programs.
• Develop and maintain all props, supplies, and materials used for programs.
• Develop support curriculum for school and community programming such as props, crafts, and activities.
• Collaborate in improvements to existing programs, develop new programs, and fully implement these changes by developing necessary scripts, props, and proper training of staff.
• Serve as instructor for school, outreach, and community programs.
• Make necessary food, activity, and Park preparations prior to group arrivals.
• Meet, greet, guide, give interpretations, instruct, and oversee program participants.
• Enforce all program guidelines and regulations.
• Help coordinate all program reservation and confirmation duties.
• Help coordinate availability of needed program and department supplies.
• Coordinate duties of assisting staff or volunteers.
• Serve as primary staff for security and emergency situations for program participants.
• Serve as instructor for necessary classes and presentations.
• Assist Education Manager as needed and/or take on those tasks in their absence.
• Provide reports and attend meetings, other duties as assigned.
