About the role
The EDS Training Leader will manage the EDS training program and approach that supports the goal of effectively leveraging EDS staff capabilities across all disciplines, Solutions, and delivery methods.
Responsibilities
- Program Management of EDS Training Program, coordinating and driving actions with appropriate stakeholders to achieve objectives
- Review/refresh the EDS Training approach and develop EDS training program plan and budget aligned with BV strategy, KFAs, Solution growth areas, and discipline knowledge gaps
- Align EDS training program with Co/lab, HR, D&IT, and other functional groups and with other BV training programs (BVOps, Corporate, etc.)
- Prioritize training activities in accordance with the EDS training program and drive accountability across EDS Solution Leaders, Engineering Excellence Leaders, and Resource Leaders
- Drive and manage completion of training development, including budget adherence
- Ensure accountability of EDS leaders to identify resources in support of content creation and delivery of training
- Develop and manage metrics for tracking progress and effectiveness of both the delivery and content of training programs
- Drive joint accountability for project execution and safety performance globally
- Manage EDS training program budget, schedule, and documentation of training
- Provide status reports and updates of EDS training development, delivery, effectiveness, and budget
- Recalibrate Training Program as needed due to shifts in market conditions per direction of leadership
- Disseminate best practices, including use of AI for training development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience working in an engineering or construction company in a project execution or support role
- Experience coordinating training content between related disciplines and functional areas, including corporate functions
- Experience with multiple training delivery technologies and methods (face-to-face, virtual, on-demand, etc.)
- Industry knowledge relevant to BV markets
- Experience managing training credentials (PDH, CEU, etc.)
- Experience managing the efforts of cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Ability to optimize resources to expand capacity
- Ability to influence outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing and delivering technical training modules and programs
- Experience with multiple training delivery technologies and methods (face-to-face, virtual, on-demand, etc.)
