Editor in Chief, Genetics in Medicine

Responsibilities

• Refine journal scope in collaboration with ACMG leadership.
• Recruit and mentor an international Editorial Board.
• Oversee the peer review process.
• Make final publication decisions and commission content.
• Promote the journal globally at scientific meetings and through professional networks.

Required Qualifications

• A strong scholarly record in translational genomics or a related field.
• Peer-reviewed publishing experience.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build and lead an international team.
• Demonstrated ability to execute strategic vision.
• A commitment to scientific integrity, rigor, and inclusivity.
