About the role

Under the direction of the Vice President of Lending, the Lending Manager is an experienced leader responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision, and performance of the lending team and lending operations. The Lending Manager ensures lending activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational strategies, initiatives, and objectives. Will provide direct leadership to lending staff through exceptional employee relations, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing employee development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the lending team and lending operations
• Ensure lending activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership through employee relations, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing employee development

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
• NMLS License required
• Notary license a plus
• 10+ years of experience with consumer lending/financial services, in a credit union environment
• 5+ years of direct experience with personnel management
• Extensive experience in using automated financial and lending tracking systems
• Portico and Loancierge experience preferred

Schedule

• 35 to 40 hours per week with mandatory rotating Saturday hours
• Not a remote or hybrid position
• Lending Department Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
