ED Technician | UF Health Brownwood FSED | Full-time | Days

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical care that is safe, best outcome practice with all Core Measures compliant.
• Documents care provision per departmental standards.
• Demonstrates compliance with all HCAHPS behaviors to allow patients and families to have an excellent hospital experience.
• Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
• Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers, mentoring/precepting of new team members.
• Attends Staff Meetings, completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
• Sets goals for personal growth and development, including seeking training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
• Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
• Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree (Preferred)
• Special Training: Post High School
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Florida Paramedic license, BLS, ACLS preferred
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience: Required to be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
