About the role

Sits with patients to provide a safe environment for those needing constant observation.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care needed for activities of daily living.
• Engages in diversionary activities as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to write and read in English.
• Knowledge of standard precautions.
• Ability to recognize emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and understand ethical and legal responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Necessary Skills: Ability to write/read in English, knowledge of standard precautions, ability to recognize emergency situations, ability to maintain confidentiality and understand ethical and legal responsibilities.
• Possessing a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is preferred but not required.
