ED Tech (Mid Shift)

About the Role

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department. This role provides care to patients with a wide range of conditions and illnesses, thriving on teamwork and a passion for excellent emergency care. The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player with a self-driven attitude, a desire to learn, and a love for working in a trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties under RN supervision.
• Collect blood samples, correctly identify patients, and transport specimens.
• Perform clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Idaho or certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the State of Idaho or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network (unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk).
• Six months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred.
• Recent experience with pediatric patients and/or phlebotomy in an acute care setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule

11:00 AM – 11:30 PM. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
