About the role

The Educational Technician III Grade 9-12 position at Bangor Regional Therapeutic Day Program is responsible for providing support to students with emotional disabilities. The role requires authorization as an Educational Technician III and three years of post-secondary education or 90 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior plans and individual education plans
• Work in a team approach environment
• Assist with toileting as necessary
• Use ABA discrete trial instruction
• Learn and use Safety Care techniques

Requirements

• Knowledge of behavior management strategies
• Experience working in an elementary school and/or high school setting
• Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team approach environment
• Willingness to assist with toileting
• Willingness to learn and use Safety Care techniques

Skills

• Discrete trial instruction
• Safety Care techniques

Benefits

• $1.50/hour additional for employees working at Bangor Regional Program

Pay

• $21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience

Schedule

• 7.5 hours/day
