About the role
Fourteenth Street School is seeking an Ed Tech III to support students in Grades K-3, utilizing a 1:1 environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assist with toileting and activities of daily living
- Bend, stoop, and sit on the floor as needed
- Pass an employee lifting assessment
- Assist in transferring, lifting, and repositioning students
Requirements
- Ed Tech III authorization required
- Three years post-secondary education required, or 90 credit hours
- Experience working with nonverbal individuals preferred
- Ability to assist with toileting and activities of daily living required
- Ability to bend, stoop and sit on the floor necessary
- Ability to pass an employee lifting assessment required
Qualifications
- Knowledge of first aid helpful
- Ability to work well with coworkers necessary
Pay
$21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience.
