Echocardiology Tech PRN

Join our cardiovascular imaging team as an Echocardiographer, where you will perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This role supports advanced cardiac procedures and offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a specialized cardiac setting. Call coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiographic procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo
• Support advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR and LAAO
• Perform imaging and obtain diagnostic measurements for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Prepare patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience
• Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic interpretation and patient care
• Present diagnostic images and pertinent patient information for physician interpretation
• Assist physicians and clinical staff regarding technical aspects of diagnostic testing as appropriate

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program required
• 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES credential preferred
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification required within 6 months of hire
