About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac imaging procedures in a patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress, and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Support advanced procedures such as TAVR and LAAO
- Provide accurate imaging and measurements for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Present diagnostic images
- Assist with technical aspects of testing
- Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms
- Support advanced cardiac interventions
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Maintain equipment and safety standards
- Participate in call coverage as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- 1–3 years of cardiac imaging experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within six months of hire
Qualifications
- Additional credentials such as RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES preferred
