Echocardiology Technician PRN

About the role

Join our cardiovascular imaging team as an Echocardiography Technician, performing high-quality diagnostic echocardiographic procedures across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. This role involves supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures, working in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams, and providing care to diverse patient populations. Call coverage is required to support comprehensive cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities

• Performing transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress, and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms
• Supporting advanced cardiac procedures such as TAVR and LAAO
• Providing compassionate patient care and preparing imaging areas
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams for diagnostic interpretation
• Presenting images and patient data for review and supporting technical aspects of testing
• Maintaining supplies, safety, and departmental standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
• 1–3 years of echocardiography experience
• Current BLS certification
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred credentials: RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES
