About the Role
Responsible for performing a variety of procedures including 2D ECHO’s, Stress Echo’s, Bubble Studies, Holters and EKG’s. Full-time, 40 hours per week on the day shift.

Requirements
- Must be registered or registry eligible; certification must be obtained within one year of hire date by an accredited credentialing body, such as the ARDMS or CCI
- Completion of a formal program in diagnostic medical sonography or experienced with current registry status
- Responsible for educational needs in accordance with license
- ACLS required
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound and stress echocardiograms following American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines
- Perform EKG’s, Event and Holter monitors
- Conduct stress testing
- Assist with department patient workflow and facilitating throughput by starting IVs as needed
- Provide quality patient care by considering age-specific, developmental, and cultural needs through competent clinical practice
- Demonstrate unit/area competencies
- Identify and assist in resolution of problems related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the environment
- Maintain knowledge of all ASE guidelines
- Have experience with Microsoft Professional
- Maintain Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL) standards
- Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships; approach conflict constructively and help identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution
- Maintain confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patients, physicians, employees, and visitors
