Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function, including transthoracic, transesophageal, bubble studies, and stress echocardiograms.
• Ensure professional care and appropriateness of studies while assisting cardiologists with exams, real-time documentation, and pathology detection for patients of all ages, following department protocols.
• Communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Follow established protocols and standards for echocardiogram examinations and equipment.
• Perform related diagnostic imaging functions and computer tasks accurately and timely.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for regulatory standards and medical records while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Stay current with new developments in echocardiography and continuing education opportunities.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $68.35 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other additional pay practices.
