Echocardiograph Technologist
About the role
The Echo technologist performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician with minimal supervision from the Imaging Management team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent training
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- One year of experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.
