Echocardiograph Technologist

Job Summary

The Echo Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician with minimal supervision from the Imaging Management team. They must have all required licenses and certifications, including a graduate of an accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent training, national registration as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, national certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, and a National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association. Additionally, they must have at least one year of experience in a hospital-based radiologic technologist role.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound or Equivalent training
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year experience
