Job Summary
Performs echocardiograms including but not limited to M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler and TEE Echocardiogram. Performs pediatric Echocardiogram. Provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens and stress testing. Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
- Preferred Education: Not specified
- Minimum Experience: 6 months performing Echocardiograms
- Preferred Experience: 1 year performing Echocardiograms
- Required Certifications/Licensure: Must have CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS. If a new graduate, the registration is required within one year from hire date or transfer into position.
- Preferred Certifications/Licensure: Not specified
- Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
