Responsibilities
- Performs high quality cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Documents pertinent information in appropriate electronic reporting systems.
- Maintains laboratory accreditation by adhering to department protocols.
- Participates in quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills to enhance customer service and teamwork.
- Schedules patients and maintains appropriate communication with other personnel.
- Participates in other work activities as assigned, including education, accreditation, and research studies.
Requirements
- Requires Echo credentials (ARDMS or CCI).
- BLS Required.
- Will orient at 3 West Valley campuses.
- Weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts are required.
- Requires Echo tech experience.
Qualifications
- Sufficient education/training to acquire ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac and/or Vascular ultrasound.
- Associates from an accredited Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting as a Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (hospital or cardiologist office) required.
- New graduate required.

- Proficiency in performing routine and emergency cardiac and/or vascular procedures.
