EC Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver

About the role

The EC Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver position at Burns Middle School is responsible for assisting teachers in the classroom and operating the school bus to transport students.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the classroom with lesson preparation and delivery
• Supervise students during class time and on the school bus
• Operate the school bus safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience driving school buses preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Pass background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Associate degree in education or related field
• At least one year of teaching assistant experience
• Knowledge of special education needs and resources

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

The pay scale for this position is Teacher Scale N.

Schedule

This is a 10-month term position.
